    Tarkista vuoron ajat →
  2. Vertaa palkkalajeja, älä vain tuntimääriä

Esimerkin 8 / 2 / loput tunnit -mallissa 12 palkallista tuntia 18 euron tuntipalkalla antaa 270 € brutto.

Checking a pay difference? Start here.

Use the same pay period and the same kind of amount on both sides. A weekly gross estimate cannot be compared directly with the net transfer to your bank.

  1. Check the time first

Write down the actual start and finish dates, clock times and unpaid breaks. Keep travel and allowances separate. A Tuesday-to-Wednesday shift needs both dates, even when you group the whole shift under Tuesday in your diary.

    Check your shift times →
  2. Compare pay codes, not just hour totals

Under our illustrative 8 / 2 / remaining-hours model, 12 paid hours at €18 give €270 gross. Payroll can show that as €216 basic pay for all 12 hours, plus €18 in 50% increases and €36 in 100% increases. Do not add another full hourly wage to those increase-only lines.

    Follow the payslip example →
  3. Ask about the difference before editing a true record

Match the payroll cut-off and the applicable pay arrangement. Keep the original times. Ask which pay codes contain the day’s basic pay and increases, and whether a break or another pay period explains the difference.

These examples explain the arithmetic and the use of WORKPAY. They do not determine your contractual entitlement. Night, Sunday, holiday and weekly overtime rules need their own checks.
